Questions about Sessions
What should I wear?
Our favorite thing to suggest to clients is to wear what makes you feel the most comfortable and the most like yourself! From jeans and a t-shirt to an all out ball gown, we have seen it all! Nothing beats watching someone feel at ease in front of the camera because they chose to wear what makes them feel confident. Do you submit photos to school yearbooks?
MK submits all chosen yearbook poses for our senior clients! During your ordering appointment, you will chose a pose that fits the specifications for your school’s yearbook. MK will then retouch and crop it to those guidelines and submit the final image to your yearbook advisor. Please keep in mind that the sooner you schedule your ordering appointment, the sooner we can submit your pose. We cannot guarantee that yearbook advisors will accept late submissions.
What happens if it rains the day of my session?
If it happens to rain on the day of your session, our photographer will make a determination within two hours of your session time and let you know if we should reschedule for a different day. We all know how unpredictable weather can be in Northeast Ohio! We never want to reschedule too early and miss the chance to photograph your session on your originally scheduled day.
Questions about School/Sports Photos
How does school and sports pre-ordering work?
Our studio processes pre-orders first. Each school or league will distribute our order forms prior to picture day. You may choose to submit the paper form with payment, or scan the QR code and order online. This is done to ensure your school/sports portraits are delivered to you as soon as possible. We try to offer a 1-2 day grace period after picture day to accept late orders, but we do ultimately have to cut off preordering to stay on track with our production schedule. Please note that online orders are subject to higher pricing due to online processing fees.
What happens if I forgot to order?
Once all pre-orders have been fulfilled and delivered, we post re-order codes to our website. In the event that you have missed pre-orders, please contact us via email with your students name, team/sport, and their school and/or league name. We will provide you with a personalized access key once re-order codes are activated. Please note late orders are subject to higher pricing.
How long until my pictures are delivered to school?
We approximate a three to four week turnaround for all volume school and sports photos. Once orders are delivered to our studio, we package them and check for any errors. After they are processed by our staff, packages are delivered directly to your school or league.
